The program will prepare you to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). You will master competency in the 21 manual patient care skills mandated by the Illinois Department of Public Health. Your training will consist of 64 hours of classroom lecture including Alzheimer’s, and 40 hours of lab training, including CPR certification. In addition, you will gain hands-on experience by completing 40 hours of clinical rotations at a nearby health care facility.
