Parent Meetings

Involvement and Engagement in your student's school is key to a successful school year! Please plan ahead and mark these parent meetings and events in your calendar.  This is your opportunity as a parent to have a voice and be involved in your student's school. ESSA (formerly known as Title I) PAC (principal advisory council) Meeting at Shepard High School
Monday, September 24th at 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the MPR (multi-purpose room). An opportunity to voice concerns, suggestions and ideas as well as give your input on various topics concerning Shepard High School and District 218 as a whole.
 
Parent Teacher Conferences - Thursday, October 4th 3:00-5:00 p.m. & 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the cafeteria and gymnasium. An opportunity for parents to meet with teachers briefly to discuss their student's grades and performance in class.
 
Parent Connection Event - Monday, October 15th at 6:15 p.m. Please come out and join us for an informative evening. There will be speakers on School Safety & Security and Cyber Bullying Safety, Mental Health and School and Community Resources, The Role of the Counselor and CTE and the programs available to your student. There will be representatives from your local rec centers, park districts and libraries to share what they have to offer teens. Food will be served. 
 
DWEAC (District-Wide Educational Advisory Council) Meeting - Monday, October 22nd at 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. located at the Administration Building (10701 S. Kilpatrick Ave in Oak Lawn). An opportunity to voice concerns, suggestions and ideas as well as give your input on various topics that District 218 Administration's has chosen for this school year's focus.

Kilpatrick Ave in Oak Lawn). An opportunity to voice concerns, suggestions and ideas as well as give your input on various topics that District 218 Administration's has chosen for this school year's focus.
