Is My Child Sick or Is Something Else Going On?

Have you heard these statements from your child?

“I feel like I am going to throw-up I can’t go to school.”
“ I am nauseous.”
“I can’t eat. I don’t have an appetite.”
“My chest hurts.”
“My heart feels like it’s beating out of my chest”
“I didn’t sleep last night.”
“My head is hurting all the time.”

They are becoming more and more prevalent through the years. Our school nurses will educate parents on why their students may say some of these things and help to navigate what can be done.
