Sarah DeFosset, School Social Worker
I have worked as a School Social Worker at Shepard High School for over 15 years. I have a Bachelor's degree from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and I received my Masters Degree in School Social Work from the University if Illinois at Chicago Jane Addams College of Social Work.
I primarily work with students who have receive Special Education Services and have school social work as part if their Individual Education Plan. I have experience working with students who have both regular and special education services. I also work with families to connect them with resources in both the school and the community setting to support their students behavioral health needs.
