hello mrs. Cruz and I am your Scholars geometry teacher for the 2324 school year for pleasure to finally meet you my best means of contact is ABIA cell phone at 708-465-1512 you are always welcome to email me please see the email address listed here what do toddlers need for class they need their iPad HD a binder and notebooks and pencils pens to write with what is expected of students are expecting students to persevere and completed many assignments as possible the grading scale is listed here and how our students been graded so they're summative assessment cost the US are 65% of students grades open Notes take some individually as well as a team they'll be other formative assessment such as quiz participation quiz concept checks which are 20% off their grades and then there's homework which is 50 percent of students grades the homework assignment policies that you know homework is really important and Scholars need to complete these when they are assigned in terms of classroom expectations to help you be successful I'm expecting Scholars to be present and actively engaged make learning a priority be respectful come with a positive attitude come prepared questions and complete all assignments due to the collaborative nature of the curriculum Scholars are expected to put away their cell phones we do not use our cell phones in class or anything at all students need help to make sure they are grasping the curriculum tutoring is available after school in the lrc and they're always welcome to you know make an appointment with me or let me know that they're going to be staying by throughout the school year for the course we will be looking at shapes and Transformations angles measurements similarity probability and trigonometry triangle two triangles quadrilaterals polygons students have been given this contract to sign and return I am always available if you have any questions at all do not hesitate to reach out to me again my phone number is 708-4655 1512 you can text and or call thank you so much and I look forward to a very wonderful school year
