ABOUT ME:
I began my career at Alan B. Shepard High School in 2020; however, I have had the pleasure of working in CHSD 218 since 2017. Currently, my position at Alan B. Shepard High School is the LEA Representative for IEP and 504 meetings.
As the LEA (Local Education Agent) Representative, I collaborate with the special education staff regarding students' appropriate services and supports, assist in the development of IEP documents, and facilitate the IEP meetings for the special education student population. I also collaborate with the regular education staff and support staff regarding students' accommodations, develop the 504 Service Plans, and facilitate the meetings for the students with 504 accommodations. I keep teachers and staff informed of those students' needs and services.
