This meeting is for the parents of any student who is on a fall sports team. This includes football, girls volleyball, boys & girls cross country, girls swimming, dance, cheer, boys soccer, boys & girls golf, girls tennis. If your child is not on one of these sports, then you do NOT need to attend. There will be additional meetings for winter and spring sports at the start of those seasons.
During this meeting we review important information about our concussion protocol, academic eligibility, parental expectations, and code of conduct for students. After the athletic director’s presentation, each team will have a break out session where parents learn about issues specific to their team from the coaches.
The final mandatory fall sports meeting will take place on Saturday August 26th at 10 am. If any parent has not attended one of these meetings by that date, then the child will be prohibited from competing in games starting on Monday, August 28th. Please arrange a meeting with our parent liaison, Kim Burke (ext 3620) if you have not attended a session.
