I received my Bachelor's in Art & Design from the University of Chicago and my Masters of Arts in Teaching from Dominican University. I began my teaching career with the Walt Disney Company as an Animation Trainer before I moved into teaching in the school system. I currently teach courses in Introduction to Art, Animation, and TOWER Art. I also have experience in photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, computer art, graphic design and more.
In my classes, students explore a variety of media, topics, and ideas to develop their artistic abilities. If a student does not feel like he/she has performed to ability, a request to "retake" is given on CUA assignments. Please submit a "Late Work Regrade" request form found on our Google Classroom page.
For the 2024-2025 academic year, my courses are Animation, TOWER, and Introduction to Art.
