African American Cultural Awareness Club-Mission Statement
African American Cultural Awareness Club is a group of educated and empowered students who are determined to dispel the feelings of inferiority by standing up for the African American equality at Alan B. Shepard High School.
African American Cultural Awareness Club Action Steps-
African American Cultural Awareness Club will participate in school wide functions to promote African American culture.
African American Cultural Awareness Club will coordinate, plan and execute activities related to Black History Month.
African American Cultural Awareness Club will respond to any matters of social justice/injustices that may arise.
African American Culture Club houses two other clubs:The Step team and the Majorette dance team called the "Fireettes". If you are interested in either of these two clubs please join us!
