Communications Club
Students in the Communications Club assist in the promotion of all Shepard news:
- Help promote school news & events
- Produce school newscasts
- Run social media for clubs & teams
This club is an extension of the digital media classes offered in the Tech Ed & Engineering department. Students who are enrolled in the classes will be allowed to use the DSLR cameras to film games and events, produce newscasts, and short films. Other students who just want to get involved in the marketing side of Shepard will help produce graphics and posters publicizing school events, and will also get the opportunity to assist in producing regular newscasts that are showcased on the @AstroworldMedia YouTube channel.
The first meeting for the club is Tuesday September 5th in Room A130 after school.
