Earn a Shielded Metal Welding Certificate while you’re still in high
school by enrolling in Moraine Valley’s Dual Enrollment program.
Earn a total of nine college credits after completing the required
courses. This certificate will give you a step up on pursuing a
career as a basic stick welder and help you master popular
welding processes. Students gain skills using equipment used in
professional settings and the necessary safety procedures.
