Good Morning Astro Community,

I would like to clarify a few things regarding E-learning. First, I want to stress that anything that is assigned is not meant to harm students' grades, but to provide learning opportunities and keep them engaged in education. Teachers are working to make sure assignments are given so their students can be successful when they return to school. Parents and students should not be concerned about points. Rest assured that common sense regarding assignments and grades will prevail during this troubling time.

I am aware that our entire community is confronting some serious challenges. I understand the disturbing news, cancellations, and changes to life weigh heavily on all of us. At the same time, I am confident that together we will get through this and life will return to normal.

I ask for all of your understanding as our plans change. We have caring and talented people assessing the appropriate course of action for Shepard High School and we are doing our absolute best to ensure the well-being of our community.
