Learning intention:  Students will examine the different types of intersection they will encounter.  in the that examination they will explain how to handle and solve potential problems at the intersection.

Success criteria: Student will be able to define, explain procedures , and problem solve at different types of intersections. 

Lesson outline:  Students will create 8 Colored Separate Drawings of the different intersections listed below. The pictures can be displayed however you would like.  Every picture must contain Lane Markings, Traffic Devices and at least 2 cars.

        2.  What is one problem you might encounter at this type of intersection?

Learning Intention:  Learn the different types of maneuvers that you will need to be able to perform successfully and safely in traffic.

Success criteria: You should understand be able to explain each of the maneuvers in order to perform it.,

1. Watch the video if you did not watch it in the classroom. 
2. Slowly read through the PowerPoint and picture yourself driving as many answers are in the PowerPoint. 
3. Watch the three short videos on how to turn Right, Left, Three Point Turn, and Perpendicular Park. 
4. Answer the notes. If you cannot find an answer please get the answer from the book, NOT FROM GOOGLE!

Create a Cartoon/Drawing and apply the IPDE Process. You may use Paper and take a Picture or Complete it Digitally. 
Be Sure to Complete All Four Boxes. Draw Your Car and Show the Direction of Your Wheels so I see your Original Heading, then the Decision you made and then the Execution. Draw Street Signs, Street Markings, Surroundings, Other Cars and People. The Prettier Better!  Each Box should show A Progression of how the Vehicle/s, and Objects have Moved as the Process Occurs. Each box Must also contain an Explanation of What is Happening during each step of the IPDE process.  
The cartoon must be Neat and Colored.


Learning intention:  Students will create a cartoon of the IPDE process demonstrating their understanding of it.
Success criteria:  Students will successfully demonstrate their understanding of the IPDE process in their cartoon.

This will be put in the 15% project category.

Learning Intention:  Students will examine the IPDE process and learn how to use the IPDE process.
Success criteria:  Students will complete the notes successfully and verbally explain the process.

With a parent/guardian, locate and identify as many instruments, lights, and gauges in your family vehicle that you are driving. It is IMPORTANT that you or your parent/guardian turn the key 1 or 2 clicks forward to the "Accessory Position" this will turn on ALL the warning lights. No need to start the car. These lights will ONLY TURN ON for 1-3 seconds. Record it with your IPAD Video and then take the Best screenshot of your steering wheel and Instrument Panel so you may look up what All these indicators. You will Attach the picture to this assignment. You must look up ALL of these LIGHTS and Gauges by using Google, your Book or better yet your Cars Owners manual.
Now either.....

*Draw a Picture of your dashboard on this Document and Label ALL the Indicators and Gauges. or
