DiFoggio Honors Geography Per 1:-Period 1 - 2024-2025 Assignments

Here is where you will submit you link for your last entry of your Portfolio Site for 1st semester.  Good job everyone.  Take a breath now and we will pick this back up in January.

L.I. – Create a visual of teen culture.
 
1.     Reflect on your lesson from yesterday.  Brainstorm characteristics of your culture here at Shepard High School.2. Create a Google Slide placing images/words that explain your teen     culture.

3.   On a second slide, explain the images/words and how they connect or represent the culture of Shepard.

L.I. – Create a subpage on our Google site to show Population Pyramids of your assigned countries and explanation of the Critical Thinking Questions.

Each student will be assigned two countries representing different levels of development around the world. You will gather and evaluate information from different sources to construct an argument on a country’s level of development.  The place you will present your information and argument is in Google Sites.

L.I. - Students will be introduced to the three types of writing they will produce for class. Students will also create a sample of each piece of writing.


Directions:
1. Watch the Abbott and Costello video.
2. Ask yourself "What is the problem with these two guys? Why don't they understand each other?"
3. Open the Intro to Literacy document.
4. Read the directions and write on the paper provided.
