Incoming Freshmen: We are excited about the opportunities that await you when officially become an Astro! In order to be successful academically, there are a couple of important reminders that we hope you remember:
- Make sure that you select classes that support your future interests
- Push yourself to take classes that will challenge you
- Know the expectations of your teachers
- Seek academic assistance through tutoring, homework help, or Saturday school to reinforce what you are learning
- Check your grades regularly through Skyward
- Use an organization system to stay on top of your work
- Touch base with your counselor periodically to make sure you are meeting the academic requirements for success
